CAREER GUIDANCE PROGRAM BY TEXTILE INSTITUTE OF PAKISTAN (TIP)

TIP has organized a career guidance program for Intermediate and A/Levels students from all over Karachi. Students from different colleges/schools visit TIP campus to attend the program.

On the other hand  TIP faculty members also visit different colleges/schools and create awareness about Textile field and its scope by giving a presentation and print material related to Textile courses and TIP.

The program includes Basic introduction to Textiles, Technical textiles, Future textiles and a general overview of Textile Institute of Pakistan and the courses it offers, campus life, facilities and Textile industry’s scope.  At the end of the session students are allowed to ask any kind of question regarding Textiles and TIP.

LABORATORIES DEMONSTRATION TO COLLEGE STUDENTS AT TIP

During student’s laboratories visit, lab assistants give them demonstration related to the particular area in which they guide students that how a fiber is converted into yarn by spinning then into fabric by knitting or weaving and how dyeing, printing takes place.
