Job Placements
The Institute assists
students who are graduating in seeking
suitable employment or planning to study
further. A Yearbook giving the curriculum
vitae and photographs of graduating classes
is published and sent to prospective
employers and other professional bodies,
such as APTMA, to ensure widest possible
exposure of our graduates in the job market.
The Institute has close
links with the local textile industry
through its summer internship programme and
local textile firms sponsor many students.
Career counselling workshops are also held,
where final year students go through the
process of completing application forms and
mock interviews in order to prepare them for
employment.
It is a matter of great
pride and satisfaction that all 365
graduates to date have been successfully
placed in leading textile mills, garment
factories and buying houses, earning
salaries ranging from Rs. 12,000 to Rs.
25,000 per month at the beginning of their
careers.
Industry - Links / Internships
TIP has close links with the local textile industry through its summer internship  programs and local textile firms sponsor many
students. Furthermore, TIP has a unique advantage that the Faculty, Founders and APTMA Members assist in placing 2nd & 3rd year students for 'internships
' in leading textile mills and other allied units. The 'internships' assist students in establishing
links/contacts with the textile industry and its allied units for future job prospects. |
