Educational Links TIP was initially established
with academic support from Clemson University, South Carolina, USA. To date
about 35 students have gained admission at Clemson
University on the basis of their academic performance and attendance at TIP. This reinforces the fact that our programs are
recognized abroad.
The University
of Manchester
Higher
Education Link

A Higher Education Link
with
The University of Manchester U.K. was
established in 2004 through the
British Council,
Higher Education Commission (HEC),
Pakistan.
As part of the link, the
arrangement establishes a faculty exchange
programme whereby both institutions gain
first hand teaching experience in the
other’s campus. In addition, TIP faculty
will continue to benefit from the split
MPhil/PhD programme offering postgraduate
study in the U.K. during break from regular
semesters.
An important feature for
students is the recognition by The University of
Manchester of undergraduate credits earned
over the first two years at TIP for transfer
to UM for onward completion of the degree.
Some of TIP’s students are now there under
this programme.
External
Monitoring & Evaluation
Two faculty members from
universities in the U.K. are also engaged as
TIP's external monitors and evaluators since
two years. They are specifically charged
with responsibility of overseeing quality
delivery of courses, teaching methodology,
structuring course outlines and process of
faculty evaluation by students. They look
into admissions criteria, examination
methods and standards and practical aspects
of course content and delivery. Annual
workshops are held during their visits to
provide teacher training as part of faculty
development.
